We can’t think of a better event to kick off our Good Feels Local series than with the SoWa Open market. Taking place in the heart of Boston, this recurring weekend event is a self-proclaimed “celebration of local makers''. It offers a bounty of artist works and hand-made goods, a diverse collection of locally grown and baked foods, and a beer garden stocked with local craft brews, ciders, and seltzers. Lowell Folk Festival

2. Lowell Folk Festival

The Lowell Folk Festival is a celebration of traditional music, artisan crafts, ethnic fare, and more in downtown Lowell, MA. Kicking off the weekend of fun is the traditional parade of nations from Lowell’s City Hall Plaza to Boarding House Park. This FREE festival takes place in the Lowell National Historical Park and offers something for all ages.

 

3. Lindsey Stirling Concert

Every so often an artist comes along and does something we’ve never seen before, like play an infectious violin while dancing and leaping across the stage to beats as she vibes with soulful singers. Lindsey Stirling is an American violinist, dancer, and performer known for dancing through her lively electronic/hip-hop violin performances with expert precision. Once a contestant on America’s Got Talent, Lindsey has takes violin to the next level with incredible choreography, featured artists, and more. This concert is an incredible spectacle for everyone to experience.

 
Revere Beach Sand Castle Sculpting Festival

Ever imagine a perfect sand castle that’s so big you could almost live in it? What about a sand sculpture that looks like a dream painting come to life? Artists from all over the world come to craft incredible sculptures from sand in real time for all to see. Along with amazing sand sculptures, the festival also includes live entertainment, children’s activities, sculpting lessons, fireworks, live entertainment, food trucks / stands, and amusement rides. Some years you can enjoy fresh coconut water straight from the shell. The Revere Beach Sand Castle Sculpting Festival is an absolute must-attend event.
